About Me

I am Milan Jain, a PostDoctorate Research Associate at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, USA. Prior joining to PNNL, I was a Computer Science Ph.D. Scholar working under the supervision of Dr. Amarjeet Singh and Dr. Vikas Chandan in Mobile and Ubiquitous Computing Group of Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-D). In PhD, I worked on analyzing multimodal sensory information to generate insights, and later use those insights to develop machine learning framework for real-world applications.

In my PhD, I collaborate with some of the top research labs across the world – PNNL, MIT Media Lab, University of Waterloo, and IBM Research Lab. I visited the Optimization and Control Group at PNNL as an Alternate Sponsored Fellow on IUSSTF BHAVAN Fellowship – which was an initiative by the Governments of India and United States of America.
